Luxe Magazine Madness!

When you hear you’re going to be in a magazine, the first reaction is always one of dizzying excitement. When you receive the magazine and your jaw actually hits the floor—well, that’s what happened when we saw our International Lifesaving Orange Candelabra on page 71 of the Fall 2011 of Luxe Magazine.

Blown up to an entire page size on the glossiest paper it practically blinded us with its brilliance. We have huge thanks to give to the magazine’s Cara Long who discovered us.

Then, we were so thrilled to see the quote by San Francisco-based designer Palmer Weiss (you’ve seen her work in Lonny and Traditional Home). Here’s what she had to say:

“You had me at orange lacquer! I love the rich color and clever idea of this lamp in the form of a candelabra. I could see a pair in a dining room with dark brown grasscloth walls and perhaps a peek of a fun fabric with a bit of the orange on dining chair seats. You really would not need much else in a room with this incredible accent.”
