How we lit the table with candelabras

Last week we had a wonderful opportunity to attend a dinner at The Veranda House on Nantucket that was hosted by the owners, interior designer Rachel Reider and 5s PR. Not only were we treated to amazing dinner prepared by Brian Van Etten of The Owl House in Rochester, New York, but we also had an opportunity to do something we often do at home, but haven’t had the chance to do in a restaurant—dine under the light of our candelabras.
Even more lovely, the light they gave off was so great that no other light on the porch that night was needed. It was truly a magical sight.

Dunes set up the hurricane on the mahogany base he made for it and placed it on the sidebar where the drinks station was set. Everybody loved it!
